About Me

My photo
I would classify myself as an artist. It took me a while to finally accept that monicker, but that's what I am; AN ARTIST!!! I have a wonderful hubs that supports my "talents" in most all avenues, except maybe when the credit card bill comes in the mail...LOL And I have 4 great kids and 5 beautiful grandchildren that I love to pieces. Come on by and sit a spell and "STAMP 'TIL YA CRAMP!!! & "CROP 'TIL YA DROP!!!"

Getting punchy.....

Jeff thinks I'm getting punchy..... bwahahahahaha. I don't mind being a little punchy every now and again, keeps things interesting. Don't ya think??? HA! Ok, let me tell you a little bit about the card before I lose ya all together.... bwahahahahaha

Deets: My grandson will be turning 3 in July, yeah, I know; I'm way early. But I always do things way ahead, it keeps me sane. More on my sanity later....bwahahahahaha.

I recently found a Drippy Goo Punch (MS), I have been looking for one forever. MS came out with them around halloween last year. I'm still kicking myself for not getting it then. I first punched 3 whisper white circles with 1-1/2" punch. Then, I inserted the circles into the drippy goo punch to just cut off the bottom of the circle. See where I'm going with this. I used a sponge to distress the edges and give just a little color to the scoops, then I added some tombow glue and glittered 'em up. I cut the cone out by hand and glued all the pieces together. I punched a 1/2" circle for the cherry and hand cut the stem and leaf(distressed the leaf). The word stamp I got from Big Lots a while back. Added the other wording with a sharpie. The 3 is punched out from a set that I got from Big Lots too. What better thing to put on a card than a 3 scooper for a 3 yrs old, especially chocolate.
Ok, now back to me doing things way early and my sanity(or punchiness)....LOL I despise being late, that is one of my biggest pet peeve; I would rather not go at all than to show up late. The other biggie pet peeve I have is clean shoes.... funny huh? I mean really!! So, grab a cloth and clean them already....bwahahahahaha, Believe me, people look(or maybe just me....oh well.) Until later sweeties.....Gotta split.....TFL

What a yummy card! Never saw that punch either.

I HATE being late. Am never, ever late if I can help it. Sometimes way too early too! My other peeve is... clutter. I can't stand clutter. Not much around my house - though I think its too much anyway!

Separated at birth did you say????

Crystal, love your punchiness! :) Those drips on that ice cream cone need licked off! Reminds me of when my girls were little and would get ice cream. They couldn't eat it fast enough and I HAD to help them by licking the drips off! LOL

I love that you used the punch for ice cream! We saw it everywhere for Halloween, so happy you took it beyond Fall and into Summer. OMword, clean shoes and on time? What a great way to live! haha! I'm married to a military man so we're always there 3 hours before something begins. haha! And clean shoes, very important, especially on kids. I would rather step out looking raggedy but have my kiddos dressed to impress. It always bothers me when I see the opposite! Happy day Punchy! LOL!
