Scrappy day..........

This layout was inspired by a scrapbook sketch challenge issued on the Scrapbookaholic blog.  Jump on over there and 'get your feet wet'.......Bwahahahahahahahahah!!!!!  The idea came ot me when I saw the sketch and the circle looked like a sun to me.....and with all the water sports happening this time of year I thought it was a perfect page for that.  I will add a pic or two later to the page and add it to my collection.
The base paper I used I bought at Tuesday Morning and it was double sided, which is always a plus.  The giggle dots I made with my hot glue gun and then colored them with my Bic Markers.  Very easy way to make them and frugal too!!!!!!   I'm all about a bargain!!!!!!  Hope you enjoyed your visit!!!!!!

Until later scrappers.........Gotta (swim) split.................TFL!!!!!!!!

Some"bunny" else is talented in our house........

This cutey was made by my 11 yrs old daughter, Harlee.  She asked could she go into my studio last night to make a card.  I said {in my best "MOM" voice},"Yes, as long as you return everything back from where you got it from".....  I was busy upstairs crocheting a baby blanket and watching TV.  I could hear her giggling and shuffling papers around for a little while and she came running upstairs and showed me her creation.   As you can see from the pic that it is hilarious.......{hmmmmm....wondering where she gets her humor}.....Bwahahahahahahaha!!!!
Harlee has suddenly developed a 'passion' for bunnies.  She asked her daddy the other day could she get a bunny and she wants to name it Pickles.  He said that he would discuss it with her the next time he is home.   You can probably guess my answer to the whole situation.........Not no, but HELL NAW!!!!!  Bwahahahahahaha!!!!; 'cause I know who will end up taking care of it.
Anywhoooooo, I think the card is adorable and  hopefully we won't be hearing the pitter patter of bunny feet here anytime in the future.......wish me luck,  'Cause all Harlee has to do it bat her long, fluffy eyelashes at her daddy and he caves.

Until later, Playboy bunnies.............Gotta (stay out of a 'pickle') Split........TFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the card I'm sending to our lawyer that handled Harlee's adoption case.   She was a very nice person ta boot!!! I made a second one just like it for her secretary also.  They were both so awesome.

Slowly getting back into the groove of things.  Life has so many ups and downs that its hard to stay on level ground, but we manage quite nicely.
Card deets:  The background paper is from SU!, sorry I dont think its available anymore.  The leaves are a background stamp from Hobby Lobby.....and yes the flutterbys are from MS punches. The thank you is also a SU! image, that I then punched out using my scallop oval from SU!.

How's everyone been doing in blogland????   We are scorching here, as is much of the U.S. right now.....{Bowing down to the A/C gods}.....Bwahahahahaha!!!!

Until later, Hot Mamas.........Gotta split.............TFL!!!!!

1ST Place award goes to........

Jeff, for being the best daddy in the whole wide world. I made this card for Harlee to send to her daddy. I used three different cricut cartridges to create this little masterpiece. The square is from Accent Essentials, the trophy cup is from Graphically Speaking and the wording is from Heritage. I created it on my Design Studio and then cut everything out and ran the wording thru my Xyron right-side down so the glue would be on the top to allow the glitter to adhere to it. I also distressed the edges with a little black ink and ta da..........finished.

Feels good to be back in my studio creating once again. Now off to start crocheting on a baby blanket for a great-niece that is due sometime in Sept/Oct. My other great-niece had her baby today and he is super gorgeous.....Congrats Kristi and Greg.......Baby Jordan is amazing!!!!
Until later, award winning followers........Gotta split........TFL!!!!!

California dreamin'

In the U.S.S. Pampanito........

Walking to the hotel from the 4th of July celebration, aren't they cute together!!!
We are enjoying our "STAY"cation here in San Francisco. My definition of "stay"cation is wherever Jeff is working/staying is where we get to vacation.......LOL This year, same as last year, we are in San Francisco, California. We have had a fan-tabulous time. We fly home tomorrow and then back to reality.....I can't wait. I LOVE vacations, but I love being home too!!!! Jeff flies home with us and gets to take a weeks vacation, super stoked. Then, Tuesday will be the exciting event I told you about months ago......I will post the GREAT news then. Have missed you guys and hope to be back to my antics in the stamping and cricuting world soon!!!!
Hugs and kisses !!!!!
