Actually it refers to the challenges I have in store for you today. The first one is a shaped card hosted by Squigglefly. Use any colors, bling, etc.... you wish, it just has to not be your average shape (rectangle, square).... Keep your creative mind in 'shape' and give it a try, super easy and super cute!!!!

Now here is the touchy feely one thats hosted by Whimsy Stamps Challenge blog..... I used ribbon, glitter and a brad to make it more touchy feely. You won't want to pass up this opportunity to get in 'touch' with your creative side...bwahahahahahahahaha!!!

From serenity to WOW!!!

I love a more laid back kinda feel when I'm sleeping....not Harlee!!!! This is her room finished. I made her a bedskirt as well and a valance and another pillow using the striped fabric. Do you see "cat baby" on her bed. She was given that by one of her sisters when she found out I was pregnant with Harlee... Harlee used to tote that thing with her everywhere. 'Cat baby' has been washed so many times that the fur is just about gone. She still loves him so much.

I still have to paint some pictures for my bedroom; as you can tell there is nothing hanging on the walls yet (previous post). I want to make a bench of some sort to sit at the end of the bed too. I still have some shutters left...hmmmmmm ...Bwahahahahahahaha, let's see what I can do with them.

Re-decorating pics!!!

Very hard to tell from the pics what the actual colors are but they are chocolate brown, seafoam green and white. These shutters were from the outside of the house (we got new ones). I made a bedskirt, the pillows, and the curtains.

There are solids, stripes, florals and polka dots...hmmmmmm have I missed any?? Bwahahahahahahaha. Of course it looks more vibrant and colorful IRL. Pics will never do it justice.... On to the next project....LOL

I got the 'blues' (teal)....

My card has a new sentiment from the Digi Shack....sometimes is nice to have the wording featured..... I veered a little from the colors, but close counts, right??? The great thing about digi's is you can alter it any way you want.... I changed the color of the word "wonderful" to match the paper I was using. Great way to coordinate things!! Whimsy gator!!!

Whimsy Stamps Challenge Blog's challenge for this week is: (Wow, say that three times fast) to add sparkle!!! My gator is loving his/her glitter. I can just see him/her saying "Ahhhhhh" from being pampered at the spa.......Bwahahahahahahahahaha!!! The water, the occasional 'noshing'on some.....uhummm, well maybe not that. This is one of the new images that Whimsy Stamps has to offer, isn't it too cute? So swim on over and nosh you up some stamps so you can try some for yourself and don't forget to enter into the challenge... there are loads of talented people out there just dying to sink there teeth into the WIN!!!!

Kicking butt and taking names!!!

The only thing that is doing any kicking around here is 'my to do list'.... and boy is it has taken my name several times. I get one marked off and two get added. Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha.... Yes, a lot of it is self-inflicted, but I have to stay busy or I get bored really really quickly. So, hopefully I can get more things taken care of and marked off my list......soon!!!

This is something that is pretty kick butt too....LOL Harlee had a birthday party to go to yesterday and I made this one for her friend. I hope she liked it.....I used the colors from the wrapping paper I used for her presents. This stamps I have used before, I found it in the clearance aisle in Hobby Lobby. The curly cue doo-dad was from my very sweet friend, Stef....Thanks Stef!!!!

HELP..!!!

The Digi Shack challenge for this week is to get inspiration from HERE, whether is colors, design, whatever makes you happy. I bet you can see which one that I chose..... I love the colors and the geometric design. This was a freebie inage from the Digi Shack but for only a limited time but if you haven't had a chance to snag it, it will be in the store to purchase. I just love to work with the cartoony characters, I can have so much fun with them. Also, there will be of "Shack Sugar" for this challenge, I've been sworn to secrecy what the 'Sugar' will be; but its some very sweet sugar.....Bwahahahahahahahahaha. So, what are ya waiting on, make like this monster and get a move on.....create something wonderful and enter it into the challenge for a chance at the "Sugar"!

Harlee's First Haircut

Harlee has been growing her hair for the whole 10 yrs of her life.... I only tipped the ends off once in a while just to keep it looking even. Never has she had bangs or her hair cut more than 1/2" at any one point. She got in the car yesterday after school and said that she wanted her hair cut, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. She took a shower and brushed her hair and I said I have to take a pic first. Look how long it was; it was past her butt...LOL I first cut off two inches and she ran to the bathroom mirror to check it out. She came back and said two more inches, I did so. Again, she ran back to the mirror and came back and said two more inches....after that I said that's enough for now. I was starting to panic....Bwahahahahahahahahaha!!!


This is the end result; cut, brushed and blow dried.... too cute. It looksso much better now, not stringy at all.

She decided to change the part too, OMG....she now looks like a teenager. I have a relative that says she looks like Jennifer Anniston....now she does even more so. She was extremely happy with the results!!!! My little girl is growing up!!!!!

Whimsy Stamps has a whole lot more cute animals to choose from now. This little, or should I say big Hippo is one they have available. He is too darn cute with his big ol' butt staring you in the face. The sentiment is on the inside and it reads: "Hope you have the hippest birthday ever" The Whimsy Stamps Challenge for this week is ribbons, ribbons and more ribbons. Just add some ribbon to your card or creation. Its that simple.

This girl is peeking around the corner to try to put on her lipstick..... That is what I totally look like on occasion, well maybe not quite that shapely...LOL But I can find a mirror just about anywhere. This is one of the new images from Modern Sugar Blvd.

This is another image from Modern Sugar Blvd. Too many of these and there's no way I will ever get that shapely again!!! Guess who drew this great little cone of delight...yep it was lil ol' me!!! MSB has some new card scents that would go great with this image.

This little cuddle bug is something I drew up and it will also be part of the scent line. Monster spray I think its called. But you need to scoot on over to the blvd. to see for yourself.

Here's the challenge for Squigglefly this week.... You can only use a sentiment (no images) on your creations. This is one of the new ones that Squigglefly has to offer. There are quite a few to choose from...squiggle or fly on over to see which one you want.....Bwahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

This box/package image can be used is SOOOO many ways... I printed out the image twice so I could cut out the lid to make it more dimensional and then I cut a slit to add tissue coming out of the box.

Off road!!!

Off road trip....I received this set a while back from Stampin' Up! and haven't had time to ink'er up!!! I love this little doggie driving, he cracks me up. Not sure what he packed but he's got everything but the kitchen sink in those suitcases, I'm sure. I don't like going off road myself, but for those that do; ENJOY!!!

Been super super busy these days....trying to keep up with list but it just keeps getting longer and longer. I 'tick' one thing off and two more get added. But I guess if I got caught up then I would be looking for something else to do. As I know all of you would do the same. I have another party to attend Friday night....ooooweee.... I love a par-tey!!!

I would love to dedicate this to my whole family....!!! I think my family is SIMPLY...THE BEST!!! There are a few nuts on this family tree, but doesn't all family trees have a few nuts. {Pointing fingers at myself} Bwahahahahahahahahaha...... This image is a stamp that I got at Hobby Lobby in the clearance section. I have been to Hobby Lobby twice this week already. I ran into one of my classmates from high school there yesterday and today.....LOL It seems she has a serious addiction to HL too.... My sister and I went there to look for fabric and stuff to re-decorate with. I got some fabric, lampshade, and a picture. Most all of the other decorating was just moving stuff around and using what I already had. It turned out pretty amazing, my sister has such a great eye for detail. We had fun in the process too!!!

I thought this lion had such a forlorn look that it just had to be a "Miss you" card, the inside says "and I ain't LION!!!!" Bwahahahahahahahaha He kinda reminds me of the cowardly lion just a bit.....OOOOOOoooo I can see my next card with him....LOL

How low can ya go...How low can ya go????? We were playing limbo for a little while, the limbo-er is Spencer, the birthday girl's brother. Me and my sister are holding the limbo pole.... Spencer didn't spill a drop....bwahahahahahahahaha!!!!

We were waiting for the cake to be cut. Harlee is wearing the striped suit beside me and the cake cutter is another niece of mine; Shannon. The little girl next to Harlee is Lauren; Shannon's daughter. I have a large family and i love spending time with them. We had the best time yesterday. Wish you all could have joined us, I didn't get home until after midnight....LOL
