Yippeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!
I love that school is back in session. Hubs said that I would miss having Harlee around all day. Does it make me a bad mom that I love some free time during the day????? I think not. He gets a break from work when he gets home doesn't he? I am a mom 24-7!!!! No breaks!!! Though she is a very easy child to have around, I just need a breather every now and then, who doesn't? After all I have been raising children for the last 31 yrs. none stop. Before Harlee gets old enough to get out on her own I will have raised children for over 40 yrs. LOL Wowzers!!!! Not complaining, I love all my children and grandchildren more than life itself. I must love all children as I'm a substitute teacher also......LOL. But you have to admit that is a long time to be a nursemaid, wash-woman, cook, bottle-washer....etc......... Bwahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!
OK, now to the meat of it all........the CARD!!!!
There is a challenge over on the Cricut Cardz Challenge blog to create something school inspired. I used Just Because cart. for the apple and also used an embossing folder for the white mat. The ribbon is some that my niece gave me. my niece is the one that got me started doing paper crafts. She's an avid scrapbooker and thats how I started. I have always been into arts and crafts and an avid painter, but never ventured into the world of paper......now I'm here to stay.
Until later, teachers.....Gotta split....TFL!!!!!

Cute card!!
Crystal, welcome aboard the CCC design team. Your card is adorable. I was always more than thrilled when my five kids went back to school and I worked in elementary ed until retiring last year.
Congrats and welcome to the CCC DT Crystal! Looking forward to seeing what you create!
