Some 'beach'......!!!!

        Tired of the winter blahs.....want to feel the sand on you toes, need a tall, cool drink in your hand???  Me too!!!!!!

But........... this is as close as you're going to get today while visiting.  My "pelican" friend and I are planning a trip to Hambo Hoedown. Come along and join us for some beachy scenery.

That's the challenge this week...create something beachy. The pelican and the life saver are from Hambo stamps.  I {heart} Hambo!!!!!!!!!  I {heart} the cartoony feel of his work. 

FYI - I forget sometimes to give you the lowdown on the deets of my work......

so here goes.........

I colored the images with color pencils, OMS and a stump.

The sentiment is an oldie from a clear set (sorry, can't remember the name).

I embossed the kraft cs layer underneath the images with woodgrain folder and ran a white ink pad lightly across to look like the salty wood you find near the ocean. Stapled some orange paper ribbon for an added  embellie.......
