About Me

My photo
I would classify myself as an artist. It took me a while to finally accept that monicker, but that's what I am; AN ARTIST!!! I have a wonderful hubs that supports my "talents" in most all avenues, except maybe when the credit card bill comes in the mail...LOL And I have 4 great kids and 5 beautiful grandchildren that I love to pieces. Come on by and sit a spell and "STAMP 'TIL YA CRAMP!!! & "CROP 'TIL YA DROP!!!"

Thank GOD.....

Not my usual type of card, is it? I usually have a funny image or a twist on the wording....well, I am multi-faceted. LOL Actually this card was made for yet another DT call.....I know, I'm gonna spread myself too thin one of these days.... Nah...I love to keep busy. I spend most days by myself anyway. Harlee is at school and Jeff is usually away on business. So, pretty much, its me and Booboo, Mon. thru Fri. until 3:00 pm. Anyhoo, back to the business at hand, the card; it is for a new site called Digiments, get it, quite catchy I thought. Sorry but the DT call has closed, but no word yet if I made it. Actually I'll be giving this card to Jeff, because the sentiment is so true concerning the way I feel about him. Jeff appreciates a "sappy" (for lack of a better word) card more than a funny one. Thats usually the type he gives to me. He will write a little love note in the card after picking it out at the store. Yep I said picking it out at the store; he gets in his truck, drives to the store, fights the crowds, pours thru dozen of cards, stands in the checkout line, pays for the card, gets back in truck, drives home, writes a sweet little love note, seals the envelope, and then gives it to me. Wow, thats almost as much work as I put into one...bwahahahahahahaha. Jeff really has been a god send to Harlee and I, you see, Jeff isn't her biological father; but he is HER father in every way possible and beyond. Wow, I'm almost tearing up as I'm typing this... Until later angels.....gotta split..... TFL....Now where did I put that tissue?????

Yeah, get me a tissue too while you're at it! Lovely card and I can relate to the story. But don't tell Jeff I'm telling you - bwwahjhhaaa! My hubby does the same thing. Only thing that surprises me though is that he ALWAYS finds such a PERFECT card too! Gotta love those men!

Good luck on the DT call and DO NOT spread yourself too thin. Is there really such a thing as "too thin"???????

I really like this! I'm always looking for ways to incorporate a scripture verse here and there; it balances out my sarcastic side lol! Love the story; you are a blessed woman.

It might not be your usual style Crystal, but it's a wonderful card! I am partial to the color, but the whole layout is fantastic to showcase the sentiment! Good luck on your application.
