About Me

My photo
I would classify myself as an artist. It took me a while to finally accept that monicker, but that's what I am; AN ARTIST!!! I have a wonderful hubs that supports my "talents" in most all avenues, except maybe when the credit card bill comes in the mail...LOL And I have 4 great kids and 5 beautiful grandchildren that I love to pieces. Come on by and sit a spell and "STAMP 'TIL YA CRAMP!!! & "CROP 'TIL YA DROP!!!"

My little piece of the 'woods'.....LOL

...well, wood that I purchase from Home Depot...bwahahahahaha. This is my workshop. Yes, these are all my tools, that I have purchased over the years. Jeff never ventures into my workshop, he has his own. He used to have a small engine repair business and his is supplied with all of that type of equipment, and I never bother his stuff either....LOL
From left to right I have a table saw, belt sander, drill press, band saw, miter saw, not pictured is router/router table, several handheld sanders, jigsaw, hammers, rulers, etc...... I know what you're thinking....I don't look the type...I have heard that many, many times; especially when I walk into Home Depot
Another funny story: I was looking for something at HD and the man helping me asked "Is that what your husband sent you to buy?" ARRGGHH...Yes I have actually have that happen to me before....well let me tell you,.... I politely told him {in a stern manner} that I was the one looking to purchase....and after a long hard look at me he then started to talk 'dumb' to me.....like he had to explained it to me... I listened {getting madder by the second} and then I started to relay the information back to him in his 'man' lingo, he looked surprised and then said "this really is for you, HUH?" Well, that is when I gave him the riot act and told him that I wanted a manager.... Needless to say that has never happened again because I think they know me now....bwahahahahahaha. MEN!!!!

Here is the creative thing that I promised too....these are the treat bags I have been working on for the ball team. They are filled with 'sugary' goodies. I used the stamp set from Hanna Stamps...love the Hanna's.... The girls are having their banquet really soon and I like to have them a little extra something.....
I hope I dont bore everyone with my little stories.... But I figure if they bore ya, you will jusst move on to your next little adventure..... Love all you gals that hang in there though.....LOL
Until later, divas....Gotta split.....TFL!!!!!!

Never boring...always fun! I am so jealous of your wood workshop! I have been itching to get some of my own BIG tools:) My husband is NOT handy and doesn't enjoy working with wood or engines. Being the avid crafter, I always want to do my own wood stuff. Thanks for the inspiration:)

Hey Crystal! Love the wood shop. I'm into power tools also. My favorite is my 14" chainsaw. I like the treat bags. maybe I should do that for our baseball team. Cool Idea!
