About Me

My photo
I would classify myself as an artist. It took me a while to finally accept that monicker, but that's what I am; AN ARTIST!!! I have a wonderful hubs that supports my "talents" in most all avenues, except maybe when the credit card bill comes in the mail...LOL And I have 4 great kids and 5 beautiful grandchildren that I love to pieces. Come on by and sit a spell and "STAMP 'TIL YA CRAMP!!! & "CROP 'TIL YA DROP!!!"

"Bee" Prepared.....

Get it....'bee' prepared...umbrella..... Oh, nevermind...bwahahahahaha. I think that is the sentiment that I will finagle onto the card somehow. Do you sometimes have a hard time deciding on where the sentiment should go? I do most of the time, for me that is the hardest part. Sometimes it all just seems to fit and 'bang' it hits me. Other times, huhhhh, I struggle with it. Don't you love some of the words I use on here, ie...finagle. Does anyone really say that word other than me? bwhahahahahaha. I think I use 'old fashioned' words 'cause my parents were much older than my friends parents'. My Daddy was born in 1919 and my Momma was born 1925. I have a very southern accent too, which makes it all the worse. I think my sister sounds like Dolly Parton, real sweet and sing-songy. Sing-songy???, well its like she singing the words instead of just saying them, real soft, sweet voice and she has a long drawl. LOL....
Ok, back to the card. Its, again, another Dustin Pike original (freebie----suh-weet). I printed it out twice to paper toile the rubber boots and the umbrella. Colored it using my color pencil technique, layered card stocks and sewed around some of the layers. Added some glitter dots, MS flower table confetti from the bridal section(clearance...teehee). Made a cordinating envelope....waaaallllaaaaa! Until later busy bees.....Gotta split....TFL!

Love the papers you have used on this card and that cute immage. Have exactly the same problem with placing sentiments myself- usually settle for a tab from the side of the image if I'm stuck.
