About Me

My photo
I would classify myself as an artist. It took me a while to finally accept that monicker, but that's what I am; AN ARTIST!!! I have a wonderful hubs that supports my "talents" in most all avenues, except maybe when the credit card bill comes in the mail...LOL And I have 4 great kids and 5 beautiful grandchildren that I love to pieces. Come on by and sit a spell and "STAMP 'TIL YA CRAMP!!! & "CROP 'TIL YA DROP!!!"

Hoppin' into Halloween

{knock knock}
Who's there?
Phillip.
Phillip who?
Phillip my bag of candy!!!!

Boy do we have some eye candy for you !!!

Just look below and you'll see the great line-up of hoppees.....
but first let me tell you about my little treat.

I started off with a set of pre-packaged cards with these super cute polka dots.
I stamped the sentiment with a $1 clear mini set from Inkadinkado on a scrap and cut it with scissors (kinda wonky).

The pink monster is from Mini Monster cricut cartridge (pg. 38). I cut only the base shadow (black) and the base image (pink).  Then, I punched the holes in the pink layer using a crop-a-dile...both size holes.
I cut some smaller pieces of yellow to place between the pink and black layers to show through the punched holes.
I wanted a very impressive mouth, I grabbed my Fiskars lip punch and it was perfect.  I layered the mouth on using dimensionals.

I glued on some tiny googly eyes on the cute pink trick or treater and I added a few on the card base itself (on some random pink dots).

Now, you get to see more treats .....
your next stop is Natasha

Super cute. I would never have thought to use prepackaged cards. I've been debating about that cartridge, but this is just too cute!
