Sweets for all the sweets!!!

I know, I'm way early for Valentine's Day....but not according to the stores that have put the Valentine's stuff out and St. Paddy's Day stuff too!!! I think I'm gonna make my birthday a national holiday.....Jeff would say that I think it already is. Bwahahahahahahaha. He spoils me SOOOOO.....

Ok...back to Valentine's Day, we'll get to my birthday when it gets here..... {March 10th, March 10th, March 10th~~~subliminal messaging}

I finally found some of those metal mailboxes at Target in the $1 spot. I bought all the white ones that they had (11 total). This was way fun to decorate. If you are out and about, jump right on into a Target and get then while you can. I made a matching card.....I will probably give this to my "little" sweety; Harlee!!! Don't worry Jeff will get something too.....{wink} . Yeah, a whole sleeve of Mint Skoal....Bwahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

Oldie but a goodie!!!!

I don't have a card today, but I have some pics from a recent mini class reunion that I attended. It was the day after christmas and we met at the Irish Bred Pub in Douglasville. We had the best time....talking about the OLD times.....Bwahahahahahahahahaha. We are planning another one in March....Can't wait!!!!!!

This is the best group shot we could get, but this is the class of 1979.....good looking group I would say!!!

This one is of friends that I have known since elementary school.... Winston Elementary school, over 40 years have passed......still a good looking bunch!!! Love these guys!!! {Me, Eddie, Toni, and Carol) Funny, but we are all blondes as we were back then. Well, maybe all except Eddie.....if he didn't shave his head he would still be blonde.......

I'll be back tomorrow with a card of some kind, not quite sure yet, but it will be a card!!!!

This is the way my life has felt lately.....hence no blogging for a long while. I felt like I was getting pulled in more than one direction though. But things have settled down for now, thank goodness!!!!

'Sew' happy

I'm sew happy to be back and doing my blog again....Bwahahahahahahaha The card today is the new easel fold, super easy, but wow it makes a big statement. The image I used today is from Stamp N plus Scrap N. I'm on the design team and love working with this companies products. Zip on over to check out their basket of goodies that they offer. I used my paper piercer to punch the holes to stitch the heart....

It was sew fun to create, I'm sure I will be making more......

I thought that it was appropriate that I make a card with the bee that I created yesterday!!! {I hope you enjoyed my video.... it was my first attempt} It was too easy to put together... cardstock, couple of DSP's....waaalllaaaa!!! My studio (which is in my basement) is so cold. I have a gas heater down there and vents from the central heat too, but it still remains so cold. It makes it very hard to create when my hands are frozen.....LOL. But I'm going to do my best to try and keep up with a new post every day.

Some personal news.... I got married over the holiday. Nothing fancy, we decided instead of waiting just go ahead and go to the courthouse and we can have a big blow out party later this year, when it warms up!!! Harlee was there with us...she held the rings. When the judge was talking all I heard was .....wahh wahha wahahha wahha wahaa......{<-----my rendition of the Charlie Brown teacher language} That is all I heard, I don't remember anything she said, all I knew was when she got thru talking and looked at me it was my turn to say "I will" Bwahahahahahahahaha... But I'm glad we finally did it.....

So..... As the world turns and we spend the days of our lives together we will be Generally Hospitable to each other.......

It's me...it's me.....LOOONG time no see!!!!

Today I'm making my maiden 'flight' into the video tutorial world...... this video I will 'bee' showing you how to make a paper punch BEE!!!!

I saw this adorable bee @ Ruth's Stamping Corner blog and I thought this would 'bee' a simple yet cute idea for my first video... gotta give her, her props!!! Mine is a little different than hers so 'buzz' on over there to check out her version.


Jeff (my new hubby, check out the bling I'm sportin' on the video....and the black polish...teehee) he got me a Sony Handycam for Christmas. I asked Jeff {aka Santa} for a Cricut Expression... but as you can guess, he doesn't do any of his shopping until....yep, Christmas Eve. He went to 3 or 4 stores looking for one, they all had plenty of the smaller ones....but that's not the one I wanted. My motto is: "Go BIG or go home!!!" Bwahahahahahahahahaha. So, he had to go to "plan B". But I'm VERY pleased with the handycam. Hope you enjoy the video...it only took me 4 tries to finally get thru it......Bwahahahahahahaha. I had to stand at the kitchen island for good lighting, and my studio is TOO dang cold to be down there for too long. Hope to be able to add more video tut's later, maybe some more pic tut's as well.
