What's green and warty and wet all over???

one very happy frog!!!!
{Git it....git it....git it}

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

It's getting to be that time of year again....lots of fun in the sun !!!

My daughters tadpoles think so......

This is what they looked like a few days ago.
They all had developed their back legs.
Now today one had its front legs.....and its color has lightened up.

Can you guess what this is ????
Yep, its tadpole food.
It's boiled lettuce and mashed (w/ a fork) until it resembles algae.
We searched on the net to see what to feed them.
Believe me, they {heart} it!!!!

So in honor of my daughters new {temporary} pets.
{temporary - as in, we are taking them back to the lake
 to release them once they are grown}

I created this card.

Doesn't that frog look happy.......I hope our little ones are just as happy
when they are released.

The images are from
Viva Las Vegastamps! {<----click to hop on over to shop}

Here is a supply list:
Circular border punch and word window punch.
Color pencils, OMS (Odorless mineral spirits) and a paper stump for blending.

Here's a close-up of the Crystal Lacquer.
I put it only on the water after I colored the image.

The cat tails were created using the word window punch and hand cut stems and leaves.
I used the 3/4" miracle tape onto the paper and punched and then peeled the backing off
and applied some flocking to make them fuzzy; like the real thing.

Don't forget to hop over and grab yourself some of these goodies.

Until later, froggers.......  Gotta hop split.......TFL!!!!!
