'Owl' always 'swan' to dance with you!!!!

Bwahahahahahahahaha !! How cute is that title...its describes all three of the challenges I have today. Yep, I said three. The first one is a Whimsy Stamps Challenge Blog card.....and the challenge is 'birthdays'. How simple is that....make a card with a birthday theme. That cute owl is eyeing those cupcakes, what a hoot !!!!


Now the next one is a Squigglefly challenge. This can be a simple or hard challenge, depending on how you look at it. You have to make a one layer card and use only one embellishment. 'Swanna' try it!!!!


Last, but definately not least is a sketch challenge from MyGrafico. I have a hard time with sketches myself. I like to go with the flow and work around the image or I may have something in mind already. So, when I have to follow a diagram of sorts I have to think about it more. But, I would say, all in all I did OK.

We had a great time. Afterwards we went to my sisters house and then picked up Harlee.... she's back from Jeckyll Island... We are a family unit once again.... LIFE IS GOOD!!!!!

It's gonna be a great 'sparkling' day......Modern Sugar Blvd. has more stuff. To celebrate the 4th, the challenge is, what else, yep red, white and blue or you could go with navy, cranberry, and ivory. Either way I just know that your creations shine like a sparkler.

We have no real plans....not sure when Harlee will be home.... she went with my oldest daughter and her family to Jeckyll Island for a week. They are scheduled to be home some time saturday. Jeff says that no use in going to the parade without her. Doesnt he think that I would like to go. What are we going to do when she moves out??? I know that is a long time from now, but just because she's not here we have to stop enjoying ourselves. Oh well, I'll probably just make cards (pout) and he will be working on his college class essays.

Sweet Memories......

This one I made for a niece (in-law) that lost her grandmother recently. I thought the sentiment was so on point. I hope she really takes heed in the message. i have been reminiscing a lot lately. Going to my sisters house every other day to help out as much as I can. I think being there sometimes is really all she needs. We were going through old pics the other day and WOW...I look amazing like my mom side. I never really noticed it before. Last year we went to a family reunion and several people told me I looked just like my mom when she was younger. Then I had an uncle (my mom's brother) and he couldnt get over how much I looked like her too. Here is a few pics for you to judge for yourself.....

We are both about 9 or 1o yrs old in these pictures....

So, what ya think??....yeah I know. Now you see where the hair comes in at too!!!! Blondes on both sides of my family. You can hardly tell where my hair stops and my face begins....bwahahahahahahaha...

It good to go back to your roots and see things you never noticed before.

Modern Sugar Blvd. has some great new images for you to purchase. This first one is actually two seperate images on the same card. Yoga lady and waffle and syrup..... When I saw her sitting there with her eyes closed, I just knew that she was dreaming about the waffle and syrup....bwahahahahahahahaha. Who wouldnt be, they look delish!!!!

The one below is delish too.....its none other than red velvet elvis......bahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

I glittered him...flocked him.....and crystal effects'ed him.....and he loved every minute of it. Cruise on over to the blvd. and see what else is new...this is just a small sampling of goodness.
