Bath time....

Is it saturday nite already???? bwahahahahahaha
Well, maybe it isnt saturday yet, but who doesnt love a great bath, the "calgon" moment. When no one bothers you and you can just linger in the tub as long as ya want....
Kids just love a good 'bath time', but it seems like when they get older....you have a hard time gettin' 'em in and then you have a heck of a time gettin' 'em out....
I guess they think they're gonna miss somthing while they are in the tub...but they forget all about it once they start playing....
This card was inspired from SCS's challenge to layer embellishments, I layered a little..... but I think I got a little 'punchy'... (check out the holes...I made them using my Creative Memories bubble punch, i thought it was appropriate) ....LOL
Oh well, I had fun making it!!!

Butterfly kisses....

I finally bought the butterfly punch....I'm normally not a big fan of Martha Stewart items, but I just love this little butterfly. I love it sooooo much that I actually paid full price, and those words are even hard for me to even type. But, I bit the bullet and did it anyway, and I'm sure I will get a lot of mileage out of it also.
Wow...after I got the card finished I realized it had no stamping involved. So, even a novice can do this card. I even printed the wording from the computer, how much easier can that be????
Also, this is a sketch challenge from SCS, I didn't even have to figure out a layout....it was already there for me to use. There are hundreds that you can choose from to get you going. So, too all you novice card makers, this is for you. What are you waiting for??? Give me a ringy dingy and I will get you started on the road to a fun, creative and productive time!!!!

Flower power....

I just love this flower stamp. I got it from Michael's out of there $1 bin....doesn't that make you "crazy happy". It does me when I can find the cutest things so cheap... And the color combo is simply scrumptious. I think this is my new fav color combo of the 'month', it will change when another color combo catches my eye.....but for now this is it!!!!
If you have anything different you would like me to do or a technique that you would like me to try, let me know??? I'm always up for a challenge. Until later, "Stamp 'til ya Cramp!"

So Very........

...HOPPY.....
I love a challenge and this is one from SCS.... todays challenge was to "try a new technique" .... a framed/window card. Its the first time I ever did anything like this, but it turned out OK. The frog is recessed approx. 1/4". I had a hard time deciding what stamp to use. I guess that means I need to buy more sets.... bwahahahahahaha....
I don't think that Jeff would agree...
The frog is from the set "All Wrapped Up" and the wording is from the set "So Very" , I altered the word hoppy a little bit, I stamped the 'happy' and then I use a hole punch to punch out the "a" to create the word hoppy.
I hope everyone enjoys reading my ramblings as much as I enjoy writing them.....until tomorrow!!!!

Mayonnaise glasses....

...do you remember that...boy I do!!! I may be showing my age a little bit, oh well..... when we were kids, we used to drink out of old mayonnaise jars (cleaned, of course). Mama didn't want us to break her good drinking glasses so she would save the jars and wash them out for us kids to drink out of. I know I'm not the only one to have experienced that. I guess its a southern thing!!!! This was the inspiration of this card, as soon as I saw this set from Stampin' Up! I knew that I was going to make this card eventually. Even though the set has been retired for quite some time, I will still use it as much as possible, 'cause I simply love it.

Friendship...

I want to dedicate this card to all the GREAT and FUNNY ladies, (friends, both old and new) that I had the pleasure of meeting and making cards with last night. I hope the sentiment on the card will foretell what the future will bring, "friendships that last forever"....

I want to thank Bonnie for hosting the workshop....hopefully we can all get together again soon.

Please if you have any questions and/or comments, don't hesitate to contact me. I will be more than happy that you did!!!!
