This is a table I made for our
front porch...hubby was always
looking for a place to put his
drink while sitting on the swing.
This is a coat rack that I
made using the actual door
knobs from a door we had
changed.
These are some signs/
decor I made using old scraps
of wood.
This is a candy dish I made for
Harlee's teacher
(hence the school mascot).
And the girlie decor are bits
and pieces that I picked up
from everywhere and
painted to match.

The Rustic Daisy
Hi everyone and welcome!!!
This is a first for me so bear with me while I learn how to do this.
First, a little about me, I have loved arts and crafts as long as I can remember. I remember watching my maternal grandmother glueing elbow macaroni to high heel shoes and then spray painting them gold and she also glued sweet gum balls onto styrofoam cones and sprayed them gold to look like christmas trees. And she made this kitchy container, she used a metal coffee can and then she would roll up paper from old magazines (the colorful ads actually) and then she would glue the paper tubes vertically onto the can, then she would take wire and cut it into short lenghts to insert into the top of the tubes for a scalloped effect. She was always doing something like that, and I loved to watch her do it, and the occasional rolling of paper she allowed me to do.
So you see, I love any type of arts and crafts, myself....I paint with acrylics on anything that doesn't move, I crochet, knit, sew, scrapbook, make cards, woodworking, anything and just about everything. I eat, sleep and breathe it. So, sit back and enjoy what I enjoy!!!!
