About Me

My photo
I would classify myself as an artist. It took me a while to finally accept that monicker, but that's what I am; AN ARTIST!!! I have a wonderful hubs that supports my "talents" in most all avenues, except maybe when the credit card bill comes in the mail...LOL And I have 4 great kids and 5 beautiful grandchildren that I love to pieces. Come on by and sit a spell and "STAMP 'TIL YA CRAMP!!! & "CROP 'TIL YA DROP!!!"

Added to today's post.....

I've had questions on how I used the blister packaging/clear acetate packing.... You know how you buy some things and they are in the sorta stiff clear plastic packaging. Especially a lot of crafting supplies come in those types of packaging. Anything that has some sort of flat surface to it I have saved for just this type of project. (See card in post below.) The staz-on inks will adhere to it wonderfully as they are made to do this. So, don't throw out those clear packaging things.....us crafters will find a use for everything and anything.

Have fun!!!!!!

Truly......thinking about you...

all of you here in blog land!!! I've been MIA again....lol I really don't mean to miss out on so much. But life has a way of getting in the way sometimes.....bwahahahahahahaha!!! Had another mini-reunion for the class of '79 this past Sunday. We had the best time, as always!!!! Have another mini-reunion of sorts this saturday at my sister's house. This time it's family and we are having one big b'day celebration as well for all the family members at one time.
Busy, busy, busy......but I wouldn't have it any other way!!!!
Now on to the main event: The card!!!!
I went yesterday to Hobby Lobby with my faithful coupon and bought some white Staz-on. I have been saving the blister packs/clear packaging from many items and thought that I could use them to make clear things for my cards. Here's my first attempt and it turned out pretty good. Then I punched out butterflies using the MS punches and placed them underneath the clear piece. Placed the ribbon across the top to hide the glue and VOILA' Very simple, but WOW!!!!
Until later, My Main Events........Gotta split.............TFL!!!!

COFFEE!!!!!!

I LOVE a good cup a joe...... I just had to create a scrapbook page of my sweety making coffee for me. When he's home he makes my coffee every morning and its ready whenI get up....the funny thing is, he doesn't drink coffee. That makes it all the more special. He left me a note (included on the scrapbook page) of how to make coffee....he's a real funny man. He said that I haven't had to make it in so long that I would probably need directions....Hardy har har!!!! Jeff....Keep your day job, honey!!!!! Bwahahahahahahahahaha!!! On the note; I created a coffee cup ring using a real cup and brown ink. There is real coffee grounds in the little clear envelope and the title is on a real starbucks coffee insulator. I cherish this man, he is the most considerate person I have ever met.
Love ya Sugarbear!!!!!
Until later, morning people........Gotta split..........TFL!!!!!
