Happy spring !?!?!?!?!?!?!

Will spring ever get here? It seems like it's taking it sweet time this year. I made this card for a challenge at Rubberstamp Chat. It is a card sketch and spring theme. I have no idea where I got this image from, but I love it. Reminded me of Tweety bird. Used color pencils, OMS, and a stump for the birdie!!! You can't help but think spring with these colors I've used. I'm sitting here looking out my window and I can see the birds hopping and dancing on the ground looking for something to eat. I also have birdhouses hanging on my front porch that I can see from here and they are using one to build a nest in. I bet there will be eggs in it before long.

New design team....Yippee!!!!

Here is the first of the images that I received for the new design team @ BeccaKay Designs. Pretty stuff over there, run over and check it out. This honey bear image was so easy to work with. Using color pencils, OMS and a stump for blending. I printed an extra one to make him more dimensional (using only his head and feet). I embossed his nose and used clear dimensional on the honey. The saying is computer generated. Makes a 'honey' of a card, don't ya think???

B'day season!!!!

This is the start of the birthday season for me. I have a ton of b'day's in my family that will be happening soon; including my own.....bwahahahahahahaha. I LOVE my b'day. I have never had a depressing milestone b'day.....I always wake up that day and thank God for another one.

This card I made for my great-niece Lauren...she will be turning 10 soon. Harlee is going to Lauren's spend the night party this Friday. Good luck, Shannon (Lauren's mom)......bwahahahahahaha. I don't envy her a bit having a house full of 10-11 yrs old girls. But I know they are going to have a blast.

Artsy Fartsy.....

I just love this image.....it's from Hanna Stamps. But I don't think you can purchase the set anymore as Hanna has closed her doors. There are a very few things left to purchase, but it's slim pickins'. I always saw myself dressed like this when I was a little girl dreaming of being an artist. I did get to dress like this for a little while when I worked at Six Flags over Georgia when I was 16 yrs. old. Of course, everyone has to wear a uniform and as an employee we had to wear the outfit they gave us to wear. The artists were the only ones that didn't look like the rest of the cattle. Bwahahahahahahaha!!! Well, it didn't actually look quite this good, but the hat was similar and the smock was close. The pants....blechhhhhh, they weren't these cute tights like the image has. But I was proud to wear it just the same. Now when I'm doing a mural I wear stained jeans, stained t-shirt and my black comfy crocs minus the hat. Maybe one day I will try to find an outfit like this or maybe sew me one. Boy, they will think I'm an eccentric artist......well, maybe I am........bwahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

I think I'm going to use this image for my business card, good idea????
